HCLTech, an Indian IT services and software company, has signed a global premier partnership with Anthropic to develop enterprise AI agents focused on governance, cybersecurity, and safety.

HCLTech will set up an Anthropic business unit and center of excellence, provide secure sandbox environments for Claude deployments, and integrate Claude and Claude Code into its AI Force platform for IT support, code remediation, and digital employee services.

HCLSoftware, HCLTech’s software division and an Anthropic independent software vendor partner, will embed Claude capabilities into selected products, including BigFix and AppScan, which it describes as an AI application security testing platform, and enable Actian AI Analyst.

Anthropic runs a formal partner program for services firms and has also partnered with Accenture, showing that the HCLTech agreement expands its enterprise channel strategy.

HCLTech already offers generative AI services for enterprises, showing that the tie-up is part of its broader AI strategy.
