Indian EV startup Yulu eyes smaller cities for growth

Indian electric mobility startup Yulu plans to focus on smaller cities to boost revenue growth, according to chief executive officer Amit Gupta.
With a current fleet of 45,000 vehicles, the company aims to expand to over 100,000 by year-end.
Yulu has adopted a franchise model in six cities and intends to expand to 30-40 cities, targeting passenger transport and quick-commerce deliveries.
The startup is also exploring ecommerce and bike taxi services while testing mid-speed scooters with select users.
