Nvidia says Megaspeed dealings were Normal after probe report
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on October 29 that the company’s dealings with Singapore-based Megaspeed International, a technology firm, were normal.
His comments came after a report linked a former Megaspeed executive to a US investigation over alleged spying for China and efforts to evade chip export restrictions.
Huang said Nvidia had reviewed Megaspeed’s graphics processing unit deployments and found no illegal diversion of its AI chips to China.
The comments followed a report that said US authorities were investigating the former executive for allegedly passing information to the Chinese government and helping bypass US chip restrictions.
