ServiceNow cuts jobs in US, UK, India in AI restructuring
US-based enterprise software company ServiceNow, is conducting another round of layoffs affecting staff in the UK, the US, and India. The company said it was restructuring, hiring for AI-focused roles, and aiming to end 2026 with the same headcount it had at the start of the year.
ServiceNow did not disclose how many jobs are being cut. In its latest filing, the company reported US$87 million in employee severance and related costs for the third quarter. It reported US$167 million for the first nine months of 2026.
ServiceNow said the workforce program was tied to AI-driven efficiencies and hiring in strategic areas. The company expected the program to be substantially completed in 2026.
The latest cuts follow earlier layoffs since at least July, when hundreds of employees, including staff in Israel, were affected. The new round also comes as ServiceNow’s shares have fallen more than 30% this year.
