Singapore-based merchant software and payments provider Qashier launched QashierGM, an AI assistant for merchants, in Singapore on October 22. The AI assistant is available to all its Singapore merchants at no extra cost through QashierHQ.

The assistant answers questions about sales, payouts, and products, and can make administrative changes after approval.

Qashier also launched Crew, a chat tool included in its Qashier and Enterprise plans. Staff can tag the assistant to check figures, update items, or send invoices within their role-based permissions.

Qashier plans to launch both products in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines in November.

Qashier’s platform combines point-of-sale (POS), payments, loyalty tools, and AI, and it publishes regional payment credentials.

The company said it serves more than 25,000 merchants across Southeast Asia, became profitable in December 2025, and raised US$6.125 million in series A+ funding in June 2026.
