SJ Integrated Solutions, part of Singapore-based engineering consultancy SJ Group, and SoftBank Robotics Singapore partnered to develop an AI-powered facility management solution that combines robots, building systems, and facilities operations.

The companies plan robotics pilots at operational sites in Singapore, including SJ Campus.

They also plan to build integrated software to help building owners and facilities teams coordinate robotic services and improve visibility into operations.

The announcement did not specify financial terms or a launch timeline.

The move comes as Singapore authorities have encouraged adoption of robotics and automation in the built environment sector to improve productivity and reduce labor dependency.

If the system handles personal data through connected robots or building platforms, deployments may also fall under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act framework.
