VNG
VNG Corporation is a major Vietnamese technology company founded in 2004.
Originally started as VinaGame, it was rebranded as VNG Corporation in 2008. VNG specializes in digital content, online entertainment, social networking, and e-commerce services.
Its main products and services include the Zalo messaging app, online games, music streaming service Zing MP3, video platform 123phim, digital payments via ZaloPay, and cloud services. In 2014, VNG was valued at over $1 billion, becoming Vietnam's first tech unicorn startup.
VNG was co-founded by Le Hong Minh, who stepped down as chairman in 2023 but remains involved with the company he helped build from its gaming origins.
